I notice that it's trying to download minecraft_server.1.13.jar (as opposed to, for example, minecraft_server.1.12.2.jar). It may be that Mojang has mucked around with the format of their manifest.json file. I haven't had time to dig into that yet, but I may have time later this evening to look at it. Minecraft was working perfectly fine until I tried updating to the new 1.9 update. It appears to finish the update but then it pops up a message: Unable to update the Minecraft Native Launcher. Here is a screenshot showing the error: I looked around on the Internet and found no support for my problem so I decided to try this website.
